Today we decided to take a New York City tour of the George Washington Bridge via our road bikes. It was worth every pedal effort. The weather was perfect, the humidity was low. Riding to the GW was a fun filled experience. Once we got over the bridge we stopped at a local cafe in New Jersey for lunch. There we were contemplating taking the ride further to Nyack, but the goal of the day was to ride over the GW so we stuck with our original plan. Riding back was even smoother because at this point we were familiar with the route off the bridge. We were able to ride down riverside along the Hudson while it was still light out. Back in Queens we finished off the day with a pasta dinner in Forest Hills, Queens, before heading back home. Great ride, great day.
