New York City Marathon Time Goal

Given my unfortunate encounter with Plantar Fasciitis my marathon goal has been tapered down quite a bit. Fortunately I have been able to run consistently and through home therapy been ok. With that said I am hoping to be able to run sub 4 hours (9 minutes, 9 seconds per mile) or close to it come race day. I have some more long runs to test goal pace and continue to hope for the best. Either way very excited to be participating in the 50th celebratory running of the New York City marathon.

Conclusion

Did not quite get to my A goal but surely nailed my B goal of sub 4:30 with a finish time of 4:29:39.
