Hey Alex, I just bought this trainer and have a few questions. It came with a skewer and was wondering if you’ve permanently replaced your skewer with the one provided on your bike?
Second question — do you use a power meter and if so, which have you used and/or recommend.
The skewer it came with is only to be used if your bike does not already have one.
Yes I have a power meter installed on the rear wheel. I got the kinetic power meter, also from Bicycle Habitat, but there are also some great deals on eBay, mine is wired, you may also look at the wireless, but the wired should suffice, unless you want to pay the extra $$$.
The skewer that was on your bike fit? Mine didn’t fit hence I replaced with the one provided from kinetic. It’s just annoying to switch back & forth but have just left the kinetic skewer on my bike…

My bike has a standard quick release skewer and there is no need for interchanging. You’re should be fine as well, is it quick release?
Yes it’s quick release. Will try again but I think the skewer head is bigger than the skewer mounting hole..
