This is the second year that Anh and I partook in the Falmouth Road Race. Last year we stayed in Falmouth which made it very convenient to get to and from the race. However this year we stayed in North Truro a town away from Provincetown. North Truro is 1hr 30 minutes away from Falmouth. We drove down to Lawrence High School where we caught a shuttle that took runners to the start. Race gun went off at 10am as scheduled.
My plan as always was just to listen to my body and the pace will determine itself. So I did. Right off the start I was just gliding along the course. Mile 1 I clocked 7:08. Mile 2 6:48. Just kept that steady pace and knew then I was running a PR race today. (more to come)…….
