Since renting a Bike Trailer in Cape May a few weeks ago on a weekend trip I have been researching purchasing one. I was debating between the Burley Bee and the InStep Double. The usual price difference was a factor being that the Burley is on the higher end of that range. However the feature set with safety and durability of the trailer being front and center the decision came down to getting the Burley.

Today was our first ride with the Burley Bee Bike Trailer. I’m really glad we went with the Burley Bee Bike Trailer which features 20″ wheels as opposed to the InStep 16″. With some rough patches on the road along the ride this made for a smoother ride. My son was very happy and comfortable in the trailer. Also the trailer has sufficient cargo space to fit two (2) standard back packs. I’m surely looking forward to more rides this summer using the Burley Trailer.
