Woohoo, 3rd Place in my Age Group

Great to be racing triathlons again since 2019. This race took place at Rockaway Beach, NY.

My Family’s vantage point and mine on the bike

The swim was very choppy but I quickly made my way to calmer water once over the breakers. I did my best to go as hard and safe on the bike as possible. I had great legs left to finish off the run.

Swim a bit less than 400m due to the water conditions
Pushed a steady hard effort on the bike
Woohoo, run finished off the race.
Such as great feeling to be racing Tris again

3rd Place in my Age Group
Looks like my daughter and son outdid me today
Post race grub is always the highlight
