Yesterday Apple announced the iPhone 14 line. The lines include the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
I made some cutouts below to compare sizes to determine my purchase. Based on the iPhone 14 Pro Max form factor it closely aligns with my current iPhone 7 Plus so this will be the option I go with when the phones open for pre-ordering tomorrow at 5 am PT.

New iPhone 14 Pro Features
- Dynamic Island ππ¦πΎ
- Emergency SOS via satellite
- Crash Detection
- Always-On display
- 2000 nits peak brightness (outdoor)
- A16 Bionic chip
- Pro camera system (48MP Main, 12MP Ultra Wide, and 12MP Telephoto) – 4X the iPhone 7 Plus π€―
- Photonic Engine – Much more detail. In much less light. The Photonic Engine allows Deep Fusion β which merges the best pixels from multiple exposures into one phenomenal photo β to happen earlier in the process on uncompressed images. This preserves much more data to deliver brighter, more lifelike colors and beautifully detailed textures in less light than ever.
- Action mode: for smooth handheld videos – no gimbal required.
Other gains I’ll be getting from this HUGE upgrade
